The wheels on the bus:

As a student growing up in Philadelphia The Franklin Institute was the long-awaited field trip. The Franklin Institute has so much to offer because of its diverse content. At The Franklin institute incorporates science and history so well. Kids and adults alike have the opportunity to learn something new in an interactive environment. The employees are helpful so take advantage of that. The exhibits are large so in most siutations you do not feel cramped. There is alot of noise at times so if you are sensitive to that it may be an issue.

Larger than Life

An exhibit that will really leave a lasting mark on your mind is the enormous heart. The heart is a great example of the experience that The Franklin Institute has to offer. These exhibits are ideal for kids as well as adults . You are seeing first hand something that keeps you alive every day and as a kid that is an amazing concept to be able to walk through something that is so important.

For the Kid in all of us

The Sports Challenge exhibit is so fun. Ice Skating, Pitching, Rock Climbing and more are broken down for kids in order to provide scientific evidence to improve their abilities in these challenges. This exhibit incorporates everyday activities into learning.
